Bank strike called off

The bank employees’ strike planned for July 12 and 13 was called off late on Monday, after the Delhi High Court earlier in the day accepted the plea of the State Bank of India (SBI) to restrain the strike by its associate banks.

Shiv Sena to BJP: Drop plan to catch Dawood, book preacher Zakir Naik

The Shiv Sena on Monday asked the Centre to abandon plans to catch mafia don Dawood Ibrahim and instead book controversial Mumbai-based Islamic preacher Zakir Naik.
